Hand made in Byron Bay, Australia at the BC Hat factory. Made with waterproof canvas and features a mesh crown for hot days, also is crushable and has a removable scarf band. Please note, scarves vary on every shipment so what we have in these photos are not necessarily what will be shipped. The good news is that you can remove the scarf and put anything you like on the hat. It's great to customize an outfit.

Care Instructions

It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.

Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.

Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.

It Breathes

True to its name, this is a hat that breathes easily with the breeze while not wanting to take off with it. I love the scarf because it adds a feminine touch to an otherwise unisex hat. Fits true size, and the scarf can easily be changed if one so desires.

Adore these hats!

I bought my first BC Lady Breezer hat last year in order to stay cool working outside all summer in the hot California desert. I tried many brim style hats prior to this one, but they were either too flimsy or didn’t fit well on my small head. These hats are amazing. I receive endless compliments on this hat. My first hat is still going strong after months of abuse. I love it so much, I just bought 2 more to take advantage of the different colors, both of which are beautiful. The scarves on the hats are pretty and uniquely, hand made, but also easy to switch out so I can wear a leather one for work and a scarf to go to town. Overall, this is the best hat I’ve owned and would highly recommend it.

This hat is the best. Terrific fit & cool in looks & temperature. I did not like the hat but took it off. It does have some ragged edges but that does not bother me. I love the hat!!!!
