It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
As in keeping gnats away from my head while giving protection from the sun, when mowing my lawn. Much better than the bucket hat I was using previously. Also looks stylish and feels fine during warm weather due to the mesh that ventilates the Head area. Best hat that I could find for the price! One other thing, The FEdora style is the only style hat that actually looks good on me head.
1st one given to me by my son a year or so ago and I liked it enough to get a 2nd identical down to the color. Although same everything it's a bit larger than the other. Perhaps someone could advise me if it's possible to shrink it a little. Love it and will be a customer again.
Nice hat! Good protection from the sun and good ventilation!
My previous hats were all ball caps and very hot while seeking out dragonflies, not to mention crispy ear tops. This hat will definitely save the ears and cool my head while searching next summer.
