Straw hats can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic to our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing. Always place a hat upside down on its crown if you do not have a hat rack for storage.
Many of our straw hats come with a wire in the brim so you can shape the hat to match your style. With a little practice you can reshape your hat brim easily. Western styles are generally worn with the brim turned up on the sides and Australian style hats look great with a dip in the front and the back.
The hat was very well packed and fits perfectly. It's the best gardening hat I've ever had. I love it!
Got this for my 60 yo mom for her birthday - she couldn’t love it more! It keeps her head cool, and face and neck shaded for gardening and hiking. Looks gorgeous.
I first bought the Riveria Wide Brim Sun Hat but the brim looked too wide on me for an everyday hat (and wasn't floppy enough for my liking) so I exchanged it for the Kauai hat and I LOVE It! I can wear it around town just to go grocery shopping and to go adventuring. I really appreciate the adjustable elastic so that the hat fits snug when it is windy. I've crushed the hat a couple of times now (to fit in my bike basket or backpack) and it has reshaped really well without any fuss. I was pleased that the hat I received was a little more floppy than the hat in the model photos. I definitely recommend this style of hat!
Costumer service is great. Hat arrived on time. This floppy hat has just enough flop and flops in the right places. I have had many complements already. I plan to purchase more. I hope they come out with new styles often enough. I willrecommend Conners!
Great fit and I love the adjustable ribbon for one size fits all. I’ll be wearing this all summer!
