It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
This is a great hat for anything in a warm climate to keep the sun off of you! We went boating with high winds in the Gulf and the hat was a rock! Extremely comfortable and the mesh keeps your head cool. It’s very lightweight so you absolutely forget you’re wearing it! Wonderful hat! I wish it came in black!
Glad you love it. If you're on social media, do tag us in when you post pics of you wearing the hat. We love seeing our customers taking their Conner Hats on their adventures.
I really like the hat, good fit, but wish the hat was deeper. Very lightweight and pops back into place, even when I’m out in my boat against a strong headwind. However, after wearing the hat less than 10 times the stitching on the draw string has begun to unravel; I wish the draw string was more durable.
Thanks for the review and especially highlighting the draw string. We'll work on getting something that is more durable when sliding the toggle up and down the chin cord to tighten or loosen.
Once again, thank you for the review. Enjoy and stay sun safe!
Extremly light weight, great air flow and made from
recycled bottles. Brim is wide enough to keep
the sun off your neck. It needs to be a little stiffer for
windy conditions as the brim will fold and flop a bit.You
can hide a $20 in the secret pocket for lunch money.
Definely worth the price a 4+*...
Thank you for your kind review. Enjoy and stay sun safe!
As a deck contractor the summer sun can be a bit much. I tried the "one size fits all hats" and found they are to tight for my xxl head
This hat is much better, I usually spray cool water inside the hat and it really cools me down.
Glad you could find a hat that fit. Stay sun safe!
