Using a lint brush or the adhesive side of tape will remove dust and dirt on wool hats. If your wool hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing. Always place a hat upside down on its crown if you do not have a hat rack for storage.
Bought this for a fly fishing trip to Colorado. Sun protection, fits great, looks cool with just the right amount of western swagger without trying too hard. I can wear this when I’m home to all outdoor events where I want sun protection. I waterproofed it with Conner’s recommended spray. Supposedly crushable, but I treated it with care when packing, etc. I would recommend watching the site videos for size, care and cleaning tips.
Great hat, well made and looks great
