Straw hats can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic to our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing. Always place a hat upside down on its crown if you do not have a hat rack for storage.
Many of our straw hats come with a wire in the brim so you can shape the hat to match your style. With a little practice you can reshape your hat brim easily. Western styles are generally worn with the brim turned up on the sides and Australian style hats look great with a dip in the front and the back.
This hat looked very classy in the photo, yet when it arrived, it was completely STIFF, too BIG, and sat on my head like a bad joke.
Please, please, please get these back in stock soon, I need this hat in XL badly!
Any idea when these will be back???
This is my second hat from Conner. I really like their hats!
I just received my Outback Ranger hat and could not be happier with the quality and appearance. It is worth mentioning that the customer service Connor Hats provides is exceptional. The original package was accidentally flattened into a pancake by the postal carrier. When I notified Connor Hats, they immediately responded and corrected the situation without making me jump through a thousand hoops. They quickly sent the replacement hat which arrived in pristine condition just two days later. It's unusual to find businesses that solve problems without putting the customer in the middle of the effort. Great hat and even better customer service. I am grateful for both.
