Using a lint brush or the adhesive side of tape will remove dust and dirt on wool hats. If your wool hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing. Always place a hat upside down on its crown if you do not have a hat rack for storage.
I got my hat two weeks ago and have worn it every day since. I am pleased with the quality of the hat and the fit is just right. I live near a western ski resort and like that the hat looks a little bit Alpine and a little bit western. It also functions well. The brim shades your eyes and stays on in the wind.. I is functional and reasonably fashionable without identifying you as belonging to a certain tribe. It seems to be well made and I expect it to last as long as I can keep track of it.
It fits perfectly and I love the way it looks on me. I have 13 fedoras of various colors and types but I think this Jackeroo just became my everyday hat.

Hat was delivered with dust and finger prints on brim. Hat size was also way too big. I wrote emails requesting an exchange for the next smaller size. Included the same information in the return package. Several days after I returned item I was refunded the cost of the hat. When I inquired why I was being reimbursed and no exchange provided, I was informed that is their policy and that I would have to reorder the hat.
Even though I emailed Conner Hat to explain I wanted an exchange and included the same info in writing with the return, no one reached out to me to inform me I would have to reorder the hat. My written requests were totally ignored. I wanted this hat for a trip I am taking but due to the issues I experienced I will not be able to receive a replacement in time.
The customer service of this company was excellent in the past but is now on a decline. I have ordered several hats over the past few years from Conner Hats and was totally satisfied, but will no longer be a customer.

Hi Pete,
As mentioned in my email to you, our policy is explained when you go through the process. I understand that I did not personally inform you this as I thought it was sufficiently explained through our step by step process. In subsequent emails I also explained why ordering another hat is quicker. A new order is processed and shipped to you while your return is on the way to us. In the end you were refunded and we did not withhold any payment from you. You've also been given a discount code (valid till July 2) which basically means you'll end up paying less than the original order if you so wish.
Finally, as I have done with everyone of my emails, I apologize for this not so satisfactory experience.
