It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
my mother loves it
Best thing about customer purchasing our hats is when they purchase it for a loved one.
Thank you for the 5 star rating!
This is the 3rd one I’ve owned. They are comfortable, cool, and fashionable. Keep one in the car and one for walking the dogs. Keeps the sun out of my eyes when walking and I don’t have head sweats at the band. The one I’m replacing did not wear out; rather my car headrest was a bit larger than my head and the hat stretched out. I like the strap for high wind days. No complaints.
They are awesome hats. Keep it safe. These are the last of the BC branded hats. After 50 years of making handmade leather hats, Bill Conner decided to retire in 2020 and closed his factory.
Service from Conner Hats is great. I have only experience with the BC Hat from Australia. It is a must for me to protect my face from recurring cancer. I have received so many compliments from both male and female.
And it's the last of it's kind. Enjoy and stay sun safe!
Style, comfort and quality!! This hat has it all. Fit was true to size. Very pleased!!
Glad you like it. BTW, it's the last of it's kind. After 50 years of making hats, BC Hats closed down last year. :(
This hat is a keeper. The fit is perfect. I wish the scarf was not secured with glue. The glue removes easily enough however at the front where the brim meets the crown it does not look the same as the back once I removed the glue securing the scarf.
I found this video that might help with removing glue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTO58ckD1iY
