It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
Just purchased two more of these amazing hats--one in each color. On my first hat (purchased a year ago), I changed out the scarf, personalizing it with a memento from my mom's scarf collection. I did the same with one of these, however, I loved the scarf with which the other one arrived--it was lovely. I share this story to remind others not to give up on the hat just because the handmade scarf doesn't suit your unique style--make it your own, it's quite easy to change if one so desires.
Absolutely love this hat! Stylish and functional, exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend!
True to its name, this is a hat that breathes easily with the breeze while not wanting to take off with it. I love the scarf because it adds a feminine touch to an otherwise unisex hat. Fits true size, and the scarf can easily be changed if one so desires.
I find this hat to be exactly what I need for walkabouts. My head remains coolly comfortable while the brim provides much needed shade from the Southern California sun. I heartily recommend it!
I love the hat and it fits perfectly. My scarf is very attractive. Actually, you would think I had picked out the scarf myself. I wasn't sure about ordering a hat on-line. However, I would order from this company again!
