Made in Byron Bay, Australia at the BC hats factory. This is probably the best outdoor hat ever made! A big call yes, but its true. Made from waterproof canvas and features a coiled spring wire in the brim so this hat can be crushed and will pop back out to its original shape. This hat has been run over by trucks, chewed on by a horse, fell overboard and found on the bottom looking just fine (It does not float). Made to be used and still looks good! Has a cool mesh crown and real leather hat band and cotton chin cord.

Great hat with sunscreen use

Great hat; a keeper. Quality made, comfortable, and fits. Mesh up top great in heat with breeze. I’m in Arizona where the sun is intense. If you have short, thinning, or no hair you will need sunscreen on your head in intense sun. The mesh is see-though and sun goes right through.

I am a wildlife technician and spend all my time in the great outdoors . Hats are essential and I own lots of wide brim ones but this particular one is my favourite !!!! Cool. light and always looks great . I like it so much that this is the second one I purchase to become a spare to replace the one I wear now in case I lose it !
