HOW TO FIND YOUR CORRECT HAT SIZE

Even the most accurate measurement of your head (which we will teach you here) doesn’t always mean the hat you receive will be a perfect fit. There are many factors that can get in the way of receiving the perfect fit on the first try. One is the use of natural materials. Sometimes leather or certain straw hats for example can be slightly thicker or thinner with each batch of material, even when sewing a hat the technician can use a little bit less or more pressure and the size will be slightly affected. So hat sizing isn’t an exact science but an accurate measurement of your head is a good place to start. That along with working with a hat brand that cares about you getting the perfect hat for you. WE PROVIDE FREE SIZE INSERTS IN EVERY ORDER JUST INCASE YOU NEED THEM.

LETS GET STARTED ON YOUR HAT SIZE

Use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (not elasticized or stretchy).
Place the tape measure or string on your forehead and measure the circumference about 1/2 inch or 1.5cm above your ears, about where your hat would sit.

If you have another hat that shows the size, you can use that information.
Check the length of the tape measure or string to determine your size. (if using a string, hold it up against a ruler)
Use the size charts on the product pages to find your perfect fit. For example, if your measurement comes to 22 inches or 56cm, then you would choose a size Medium hat.
Make sure you measure your head multiple times and get 2 measurements that are the same to be 100% sure.

"The quality and appearance of the Bounty Hunter hat is top notch. I had to play with the sizing a bit. My hat size measurement clearly indicated medium was the proper size for me (22 inches or 56cm). However, the hat sat a bit low on my head and folded the tops of my ears. I don't have large ears. The foam sizing inserts didn't seem to help, now did i feel they would stand the test of time. My solution was to cut a leather strap (roughly 3/16ths thick and nearly full circumference) and place it inside the inner band. This gets me a better fit and where i feel the hat will stay put."

"The bounty Hunter hat ... I LOVE it. Fits great, looks great. I wore it in a rain storm, and it kept me dry and never soaked in a drop. Another feature I love about it, is that the brim can be easily curled or shaped to one's liking and it holds. This hat is sturdy. and the brim isnt so wide that it pushes off my back or shoulders, which is a problem I have had in the past with other hats. All in all I rate this hat a 15 out of ten. Best hat I have ever owned!!"
