If your hat is stained, a leather dressing can be applied to the outside of the hat. The leather dressing will darken the hat, mask the stain, and make the hat more waterproof. If you're just removing a small mark on the hat, sometimes rubbing the area firmly with your thumb can erase the mark. Also, you can try chalk that is a similar color to the hat. This can soak up an oil mark. Afterwards, rub the chalk off the hat.
This was my first purchase of a hat of this type, and I was nervous buying sight unseen. But I am very impressed with the quality of the hat and the level of customer service from Conner. Despite being very happy with the quality of the hat, I needed to return it as I found the brim to be smaller (3 inches) than I liked. I responded back to Conner that after trying the hat on with the coat I would be pairing it with that it didn't look right, and they promptly sent me a free return label. So they stand behind their risk-free purchase, no questions asked. That tells you how confident they are in their products, and I concur that their hats are worthy of their confidence. The only other suggestion I'd have is that I'd prefer they made hats to the standard numeric sizing (EG 7 1/8) as opposed to small, medium, large, etc. I happen to be between the sizes they offer and would be better suited to the standard sizing. But a great product.
This is the most epic hat. Like such a righteous hat. Shipping was fast and the hat looks gosh darn as cool as a monkey in a tuxedo. I’ve never seen actually seen a monkey in a tuxedo but you know what I mean. Get the hat.
We had a similar hat that was made by BC hats, we needed to order the same hat but bigger as my son grew out of the original. BC hats website redirects to Conner hats so I felt confident the quality would be very close. It was not. Unfortunately we were not impressed. The leather is poor quality and I’m afraid it may not be real leather.
Beautiful hat with a great fit!
