    Women's Winter Hats

When the air turns cold, a good wool hat does more than keep you warm. It finishes the outfit and becomes the one you reach for every morning. Every hat on this page is made with Australian wool: fedoras and gamblers for town, cowgirl hats for the ranch or the rodeo, outbacks for long walks, and a bowler and a French beret when you want something a little different.

Many of our wool hats are crushable and pop back into shape. A few, like the Stagecoach and The American Cattleman, are stiff on purpose for a sharp western look.

Not sure of your size? Use our hat size chart. Every hat comes with our Limited Lifetime Guarantee (50% off if lost or stolen), and shipping is free over $79. Looking for more? See all winter hats and women's felt hats.

    Women's Winter Hats

A wool hat for every cold-weather plan

Think about where you'll wear it most. For city streets and dinners out, a wool fedora, bowler or French beret adds polish to a coat and scarf. For the ranch, the rodeo or a winter road trip, a wool cowgirl hat or gambler gives you that western shape. For long walks and the outdoors, a wide-brim wool outback keeps the weather off your face.

Every hat here is made with Australian wool, and many are crushable, so they forgive the odd squash in a car or closet.

    FAQs

Wool fedoras and bowlers pair well with long coats and boots. Wool cowgirl hats work with denim, sweaters and a shearling jacket. Outback and boho styles like the Mt. Warning look right with a chunky knit and walking boots.

Many of our wool hats are crushable: they can be crushed flat for a short time and pop back into shape. Some are stiff on purpose and should not be crushed, including the Stagecoach, The American Cattleman, the Austin Cattleman, the Hat Bar Rancher and our top hats. Crushable is not the same as packable; only hats marked packable are made to travel folded in a bag.

Brush off dust now and then. Don't fully soak the hat; if it gets wet, let it dry naturally. A gentle stretch or a little steam brings back its shape. See our hat care guide for more.

Measure around your head just above the ears and across the middle of your forehead, then match the number to our hat size chart. Our hats run true to size, and two free size inserts help you fine-tune the fit.
