    Cooler weather or rain: choose Australian wool, such as The Axe Western, Stagecoach, Renegade, Dakota or Outlaw. All five are water-resistant.

    Warm weather: choose organic raffia, such as Billings, Bozeman, Jasper, Rt 66, The Signal, Tex or The Original Western Raffia, or straw, such as Gunsmoke (toyo), Cheyenne Roper (palm) and Cowboy Country.

    Cowgirl styles: West Yellowstone, Durango Turquoise, Cascade Mountain, Sadie, Pearl and Western Bead and Feather are organic raffia cowgirl hats in one size.

    Year-round: Maverick is genuine leather, water-resistant, with a shapeable brim.
