Excellent Hat
Sorry but....
Beautiful hat
Hi Norman, Thank you so much for the review and happy you love the hat. I wanted to let you know we make hats in USA, Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and China and where we make them is written on each product page. Sorry you missed that. If you have a problem with where your hat is made we have free returns, we want you to be 100% satisfied but I also wanted to let you know why we make some of our hats in China. As stated above we do make hats in many countries but I also have good friends in China and they do make some of the best hats in the world, not cheap junk, they care about what they do and are willingly to cooperate with our strict environmental guidelines and our Supplier code of conduct. I’m not trying to change anyone’s mind but China isn’t my enemy, they are very hard working good people that the USA relies on for many things because small companies like mine traveled there to meet other small businesses who make really good quality products, and because of that I can pay my employees full wages while this pandemic continues worldwide. Because of anti China sentiment and other factors, my small company and others in the USA are taxed heavily in the form of tariffs. This started last year and continues today, we pay the largest % in taxes now than any time in the past 30 years of being in business. Tariffs are worse than taxes because I have to pay them when the hats arrive before I have even sold anything. China doesn’t pay these as you have probably been told. We pay all of this, my small company and everyone in USA as costs are passed through on a retail level. Furthermore, most of the businesses I deal with in China have reached out to me and offered free masks and other protective gear to stay safe from Covid-19, I accepted two of the offers, one for my staff in Florida and another close business friend sent some to our family and staff in Australia. We are sharing these with friends in need because even in the richest country in the world, America, people are having trouble finding masks. My point is, whatever people’s biases are, there are always many sides of a story. Personally I’m not going to write off any country because I know from traveling extensively that all any parent anywhere in the world wants is for their kids to be happy and healthy. Respectfully, Will Conner
