This is a crushable wide brimmed outback shaped hat. Has a weathered look and chin cord for windy days.
What is weathered cotton? It's a mixture of cotton and polyester that gives the hat a leather-like look and feel, as well as water resistant capabilities.
It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
My husband loves his new hat. So well made and fits perfectly
I really love this hat! The way it fits and sits on my head is really comfortable, the recycled material used to make this hat and the fact that they plant trees for every hat sold is very inspiring and gives a sense of responsibility to our Earth’s well being and to add that we are making it last in alli it’s beauty for our future generations to come! I made this my go to hat to bring on all my travels or like my son likes to call his “adventure hat” Keep up the great work Conner’s Hats, you got the right way of doing this!!!!!
Own close to 400 hundred hats. Two of my top five use to be Conner hats. Since receiving my tracker it’s now three of my top five.
First of all, 400!!! You might as well open up your own hat shop! Secondly, we're humbled that we have 3 hats out of the 400 in your top 5. Thank you for your kind review.
First off I discovered Conner hats several years ago and have several and have not purchased any other brand since. These are the best hats, hands down. Nothing else compares and the staff from the Will to everyone else in the company go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. Thanks Will, Cole and Tid for going out of your way to help me. The Tracker is my favorite with the Indy Jones being a close second. The tracker fits my needs perfectly in this Louisiana heat and rain, keeping the torrential rains off my glasses and back of my neck without being to hot. Great hat for dealing with those pesky Hurricanes and Tropical storms. If your considering one, go ahead and get one you will not be disappointed.
We appreciate your kind words! Be sure to look up the waterproofing spray on our website for that extra protection against the wet.
Enjoy and stay sun safe!
In my never-ending (until now) hunt for as-vegan-as-possible hiking hats, I tried to make due with tarp hats for a while. They're fun and, depending on how you shape the brim, really cool. But just don't ever sweat in them cause that's never coming out and does nothing to improve the looks of the thing. My new Conner hat has already been worn on a dozen hot day hikes and doesn't look new, it looks better than new cause it's starting to look broken in. Fits really well. Looks really good on me. Reasonably priced. I mean, what else is there?
All I can say is they better never go out of business just in case I ever need a replacement.
Thank you for your kind review! We're glad the hat is standing up to the rigors of your hikes. Enjoy!
