It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
I owned this hat for 27 years (yes, REALLY!) wearing it regularly. Well, it met an untimely end at the business end of a puppy’s mouth. I was heartbroken. I was elated to find the Conner web site and MY hat! HASTILY I ordered an “identical” replacement. Hastily, it was not the right color. A 5 PM call to factory on Friday afternoon netted a sympathetic ear who had the correct color in my hands by Tuesday! I was even more impressed when he explained that my replacement was most likely crafted by the same hands as my original hat. It may seem silly, but service and sentiment means the world to an old guy. Thank you is not enough...
Happy and relieved to have found another BC hat and ordering from the source so easy. My usual local source now only carries one style of BC hat, unfortunately it is not the style i like. Thank you for continuing to make this hat!
Like the last hat in ordered from Conner, awesome. Fits great. I have already gotten several compliments from strangers. Keep it guys! 👍
This is the second one I have ordered as a gift for family and I cannot say enough good things. The fit and finish is excellent and the quality is unmatched. Excellent work. Excellent hats.
Thanks for the positive review and thanks for being a part of the Conner Hats family! Spread the good word about our quality hand made hats!
I've worn military boonie-hats for years, but it's getting harder to find a good one. I jumped to this style. I find my head cooler while working around the house. I'm looking at other styles (non-vented) for when winter comes.
