HOW TO FIND YOUR CORRECT HAT SIZE

Even the most accurate measurement of your head (which we will teach you here) doesn’t always mean the hat you receive will be a perfect fit. There are many factors that can get in the way of receiving the perfect fit on the first try. One is the use of natural materials. Sometimes leather or certain straw hats for example can be slightly thicker or thinner with each batch of material, even when sewing a hat the technician can use a little bit less or more pressure and the size will be slightly affected. So hat sizing isn’t an exact science but an accurate measurement of your head is a good place to start. That along with working with a hat brand that cares about you getting the perfect hat for you. WE PROVIDE FREE SIZE INSERTS IN EVERY ORDER JUST INCASE YOU NEED THEM.

WE DO WHAT IT TAKES TO FIND YOU THE PERFECT FIT!

 LETS GET STARTED ON YOUR HAT SIZE

  • Use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string (not elasticized or stretchy).
  • Place the tape measure or string on your forehead and measure the circumference about 1/2 inch or 1.5cm above your ears, about where your hat would sit.

  • If you have another hat that shows the size, you can use that information. 
  • Check the length of the tape measure or string to determine your size. (if using a string, hold it up against a ruler)
  • Use the size charts on the product pages to find your perfect fit. For example, if your measurement comes to 22 inches or 56cm, then you would choose a size Medium hat.
  • Make sure you measure your head multiple times and get 2 measurements that are the same to be 100% sure.

*If you fall in between sizes, choose the next biggest size. We will send two free size inserts with every hat ordered, just incase your hat needs a slight reduction. If you need more than 2 please reach out we can send you more.

"I wear this hat daily to play golf in Florida. The hat is light weight, comfortable and provides excellent protection from the sun. However, the feature I like most is that the wide brim is stiff enough to allow me to put my golf ball marker and magnet holder on the side of the brim without weighing it down and causing it to droop."

"Best part is its washable and keeps its shape. Just bought my second one of the same type, just a different size. Just took it to a Water Park and I had people compliment and ask where I got it from. I wear it Ron "Pigpen" McKernan style by tightening the strap on the back to push up the sides. If there is any other way to wear this cool hat, I don't know of it!!!"

Great hats

"We moved from Australia to live in France 7 years ago. My sons, husband and I learnt the importance of sun protection in our years in Australia. (As Brits it wasnt something we'd previously had to worry about!). Now we all love wearing hats, all purchased from your store.
