Purchased my Tarpon Springs at a gift shop in Wyoming in summer, 2015. It immediately became my go-to chapeau for walking, hiking, and sitting on a sunny back deck. Looks just as it did when I first put it on all those years ago. Still fits, too. A great investment in looks, comfort, and utility. Love my Tarpon Springs. Thank you, Connor Hats.
Exactly what I wanted, exactly what I got! Perfect size for me to wear doing yard work without needing the cord, but glad to have it for activities away from home. Light, breathable, took me too long to know the benefits of a sun hat.
Very comfortable, well fitting hat, but always looks frumpy because of the folds and creases that came with it when shipped. I haven't worn it on the river yet, but will test it out on the Grand Canyon later this month. If only it looked like the marketing pictures, with less creases and folds below the crown, I would have given it a five star rating.
Bought my original one years ago when my dermatologist recommended a wide brim hat vs. baseball caps. Immediately became my go-to hat. It’s ridiculously comfortable and easily cleaned with soap and water in the kitchen sink after sweaty yard work. I wear it everywhere…beach, pool, boating, sporting events, yard work, vacations, etc. It started to show its age after many years of use so I bought a second one for going out in public and relegated the original to yard work. And, it keeps my dermatologist happy when he doesn’t find as many points of concern on my head, face, or ears. Well worth the investment.
Don't consider myself a hat guy, but this has been a welcome addition to my summer wardrobe. Full Sun coverage including ears. Great for gardening, poolside, hiking, you name it. Fits perfectly, durable, and nice to see sustainability that is heartfelt and not just a marketing ploy.
