The Mountain packer hat will repel rain and roll up for travel. It features snaps on the side to keep the brim up if you choose and a secure chin cord for windy days. Also has wide metal mesh screen eyelets for extra ventilation.
What is weathered cotton? It's a mixture of cotton and polyester that gives the hat a leather-like look and feel, as well as water resistant capabilities.
It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
A fantastic hat, sizing is perfect. Quite the conversation starter. The distressed look suits me perfectly.
It was love right out of the box. It felt like the hat was caressing my head. The build quality is clearly better than some costing a lot more (You all know whom I mean.)
It doesn’t make me look like the models in the ads, but mine fits me as well as theirs seem to fit them. Thank you, Conner!
A great hat, Rita’s and looks great, great protection,. Of course you can’t go wrong with any Conner hat.
G'day mates, Hey the Mountain Ventilated Packer Hat is pretty cool. Never looses its shape because it doesn't really have one. Just plop it on ur noggin and go. Simple as that mate. I had it on the other day when it was hotter than a campfire. And she kept the sweat out of the eyes just fine. I recon I'm sold on Conner's Hats. And we've scored 6 of the finest in the land. Give urself a Conner hat mate, ude be glad u did...
I love this hat. It's comfy and the style is exactly what I was looking for. It's a bucket hat, but I like to do the thing where the sides kind of curl up a bit. Now, that being said, I actually don't recommend using the snaps on the side of the hat if you like to do that, too, as it sort of pulls the top part of the hat out of shape. What I have done, as you can see in the attached picture, is wrap the chin strap (when I'm not out on the boat) up over the brim of the hat and pull it around the back. This gives the sides of the brim a nice gentle curve upwards without messing with the shape of the top part.
I had a problem with the sizing, and the customer service team went way above and beyond the call of duty to make it right. If you are worried about ordering a hat online and afraid the size might be a little off, then worry no more. These people will take good care of you.
I will be ordering another hat from Conner very soon.
