It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
Maybe a little toooooo lightweight. Any breeze will blow it off, so keep that string down! Otherwise a great hat, very breathable. All my friends want one now. Thanks!
We saw one in Glacier Park but it didn't fit my wife so I bought a larger size when we returned & she loves it.
As an avid hiker & gardener (in Arizona) she needs & wears it a lot.
We both appreciate recycling as much as possible & support any company helping that cause!
Thank you & wish you well,
The hat is light weight and cool. It does a good job protecting the face/back of neck from the sun. My husband had one and my son kept stealing it to wear to work as a camp counselor, so we ordered him his own. He loves it!
Hat is somewhat flimsy around the brim. Wind tends to blow it around.
Light weight,cool, good sun protection
