My husband bought this hat while on holiday in America. Has loved it and enjoyed wearing it. Sadly it got grubby so I lovingly washed it! Big mistake. It is now misshapen and he can no longer wear it.

Further to this, I'd like to just point out that for any hat with a wire brim, it's advisable not to put it in a washing machine unless instructed otherwise. It's a great hat and we feel that a 3 star rating for a mistake you made is not a fair assessment.

Been wearing this fine super light ,sun shielding hat
for two Southeastern US summers of archaeological field
trips in searing heat of 90-100 degrees (32-37C).
Would choose no other.
Only concern was rim distorted in laundry wash.
I like the intended design of the hat but the strap holes are not symmetrical. Totally annoying as it causes hat to fold incorrectly when using straps.

This is my 5th Conner hat and I love them all . They are so well made and look great…
In the summer … at music festivals or the beach … my other hats can be a little warm on my head… so I needed something nice and light to give me shade but keep me cool.
I saw someone wearing this model at a music festival… knew it was a Conner hat and had to ask him the model…
I bought it when I returned home and couldn’t be happier’
Bought hat to wear on tennis courts and at beach. After 2nd day at beach seam is falling apart. Hat keeps its shape but for cost thought it would have better stitching. Picture below.
