Never had a better hat! Great for hiking/kayaking, keeping the sun off. Brim not too big or too small. Good airflow and handy chin strap. Comfy. Durable. However, no longer seem to have my size (Conner ya broke my heart). Also no idea why they don't make this style in different colors. I'd buy 'em all.
Best hat fir hiking in the hot summer, since it allows wind through mesh.
Best part is its washable and keeps its shape. Just bought my second one of the same type, just a different size. Just took it to a Water Park and I had people compliment and ask where I got it from. I wear it Ron "Pigpen" McKernan style by tightening the strap on the back to push up the sides. If there is any other way to wear this cool hat, I don't know of it!!!
This hat has proven absolutely invaluable for my work environment. Working on an airfield in summer can be miserable as it is incredibly hot, often windy, and not hat-friendly. My Aussie Cooler Hat lives up to its name; the breezes come right through the crown, the brim provides valuable shade, and the chin cord keeps it from blowing away on windy days (I don't worry about chasing my hat across the tarmac). AND, BEST OF ALL, IT LOOKS GREAT! I've gotten many compliments from my coworkers and am adding more Conner hats to my wardrobe. Knowing Conner's good work for nature and the environment adds so much to their value; I will be a repeat customer for many years. Thank you, Conner Hats.
