Straw hats can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic to our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing. Always place a hat upside down on its crown if you do not have a hat rack for storage.
Many of our straw hats come with a wire in the brim so you can shape the hat to match your style. With a little practice you can reshape your hat brim easily. Western styles are generally worn with the brim turned up on the sides and Australian style hats look great with a dip in the front and the back.
Oh how I loved this hat when I received it. I took it on vacation and got it wet during an unexpected lazy river drop in depth. It's just not the same. It is very flimsy. I emailed and said what happened and did receive a response to help revive my hat. Maybe I should have researched it more before purchase but no where did I read that this hat was not to get wet. Fingers crossed that it works.
My wife loves the design, but she feels the 4-1/2" brim looks silly her 5-ft-tall body. Already made arrangements for return... and ordered a different one for her.
The items arrived quickly, and in excellent condition. However, the tape in the box was either pulled off, or the box was opened. Thankfully, both hats were undamaged.
Very pleased with both products!
Will definitely buy more from Conner.
My wife loves it!
Love my hat! Finally found a hat that fits my head (23-24 inches) I had to size up. Looks good and was delivered fast
