Great Hat....But

Couple of suggestions...Add a couple of vent holes...put a squeeze clamp on the leather wind strings.

2nd Hat for Husband

My husband bought his first Sahara about 10-12 years ago and it is still wearing well. The only downside has been the sweat stain along the front by the band and leather cord, as mentioned in other reviews. He's planning to continue wearing that one to certain activities but use his new one for nicer locations. The color of the new one is slightly darker but not an issue. The big plus for me, family and friends is that he's easy to spot in a crowd! He was excited to get the new one and will be a customer for life. Don't ever change it!!

IN LOVE AGAIN

Whenever I think I've gotten the perfect Conner hat, I must rethink that. This Sahar Aussie Cotton Slouch Hat is a beautiful addition to my Conner collection. It provides excellent sun protection and protection from the rain. In addition, it looks great and is super stylish. The only thing I would change is the wind cord; it is stiff, and the closure slide is not tight. However, I think that will be an easy fix with a different cord and closure clip that will not detract from the hat. Nevertheless, the hat is great and will get a lot of use. I enjoy wearing it as well as the compliments I receive whether I wear it with the side up or down.

Great Sun Shade

Well made. The large brim affords great shade on sunny days and keeps the rain off my glasses on rainy days. The string is too stiff and uncomfortable though. Took it off. Would be nice to have something else around the hat in leu of the string to give it definition. Would highly recommend this hat for anyone enjoying the outdoors.
