This bucket style hat made to look slightly worn in. It has that favorite hat look right out of the box! Features brass eyelets.
What is weathered cotton? It's a mixture of cotton and polyester that gives the hat a leather-like look and feel, as well as water resistant capabilities.
It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
I had been looking for a rain hat that would compliment my waxed Barbour. I finally found it. Great quality and good value. It does run a little bit large, but the hat sizers they included work great. I only needed one. Love it.
I ordered this hat for one of my friends and one for me; we both LOVE this hat. My friend said "It feels like an old friend with lots of stories to tell the minute you put it on". I had to return my hat for a smaller size, and I had to wait for my size to be restocked. It was well worth the wait! Plus, the customer service at Connor Hats is the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY COMPANY I HAVE EVER ORDERED FROM ONLINE! Cole helped me with the exchange and he was awesome! I will definitely order another hat(s) from them before too long. This company knows what customer service means in addition to selling beautiful hats!
Superior construction.Impressive packaging with instruction and custom fit tapes included.
Great hat....I will be back✌
The Weathered Cotton Bucket Hat from Conner is a perfect hat for me. The price was right, the materials are sturdy, the hat looks great and fits correctly, and it gives me much-needed sun protection. I do not care for hats with big brims, and the 2.5" brim on this hat suits me -- it's enough of a brim to be a shield from the sun but it doesn't flop and it doesn't make my head look small or me ridiculous. Although I can see taking this hat on a fishing or camping trip, I use it primarily as my walk-around-the-neighborhood and walk-around-campus hat -- the style is casual enough for fishing but not too informal that it looks out of place in a slightly more formal setting. (No one's going to mistake it for a fedora, though.) Because I live near a beach, and because it's windy where I live, I'm thinking about also purchasing the Yellowstone Outdoor Bucket Hat, since it has a neckstring, but the Weathered Cotton Bucket Hat that I do have is just great. I have recommended the hat, the company, and its great customer service to a number of co-workers. Good work, Conner Hats!
