I love the hat- had one before.the process to order was very efficient and delivery prompt
I'm a writer, so loved the name, Aztec Boater. And paying the extra dollar that converted the hat from a Tarpon Springs was way worth it--very attractive band. Only going 4 stars as I've only worn the hat a little. The XXL fits well. My wife and I both like how it looks. I bought it for sun protection for an upcoming trip to Ecuador, but chose this model (instead of safari hats or such) because I can use its waterproof-ness at home in Oregon.
Excellent fit. So comfortable I forget I have it on. I got the XXL. snug enough to stay on in light wind but not so tight it is uncomfortable. Brim is stiff enough to stay put in light breeze
It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
