It's best to spot clean all cloth hats with a damp cloth using cold water, or hand-wash in a sink if necessary. We recommend using plant-based soaps because regular detergents can be toxic for our waterways.
Always let your hat dry naturally. If your hat gets out of shape, you can use steam from a tea kettle to reshape it. Hold the hat in the steam and allow it to soften. You can then reshape your hat to its original shape and then let it cool down before wearing.
Another option to take out wrinkles on the brim is to place a clean rag or old T-shirt over the wrinkled area then iron the area.
I tried on both Small and Medium, the Small fit perfectly. Unfortunately over time it shrank and now is too tight. So I ordered another. Same thing happened, so my next order will be a medium, with the spacers for a better fit.
The color faded on both near the sweatband so there is are irregular pinkish areas, probably from sweat absorption. I haven't tried cleaning it, though, and I haven't seen this happen on any of my other hats.
Other than that, I like it, looks good, and I need a couple of UPF50 hats. I especially like the ARPANSA rating - it bragged about it to my dermatologist.
Always wanted a bucket hat and glad I bought this from Connor.....My 3rd hat........Fits great and well made.
Functional and fun!
Runs LARGE. Normally a medium (7-71/8) probably should have ordered a small
My go to hat for being outdoors. Light, comfortable and protective. Looks good too. Order was shipped fast and everything was good. Recommend.
